Chainmail - Marion Campbell
The basic idea, of arranging trapezoid pieces in an unusual way, was spotted in a
magazine where furniture was decorated in this manner. Even when moving the
trapezoids around on a design board, it was not until considering the quilting did I
realised it was all just hexagons. Hand quilting seemed to be the way to go.
• Commercial cotton fabrics. All hand quilted using Perle thread #8 in black and
white.
• Pieced trapezoids, using the triangular method, when possible, of joining three
together.
