DOUBLECROSS - Marion Campbell
The design was planned in a graph book. On converting to fabric an
illusion of sorts occurred. The black is either a grid to enclose the
coloured crosses, or the crosses appear as lines of colour on a black
background. The hand quilting of the colours in shiny Perle was to
further isolate the crosses.
• Commercial cotton fabrics, Perle #8 thread for the hand quilting,
Black cotton for the machine quilting
