Meandering - Doreen Dyer
The traditional pattern, Drunkard’s Path, has always been a favourite of
mine. I used this as the basis to create an Improv version using Shibori
stitching and Indigo dyeing. The design reminds me of my wandering
thoughts as I stitched the fabric to Indigo dye and then used slow stitch
quilting to complete this piece - there’s plenty of time to think.
• Cotton and cotton/linen.
• Shibori Stitching, Indigo dyed and hand quilted.
