Reaching In - Marion Campbell
The design evolved from a study of ‘modern’ artists emerging in the mid 20th
century; their works were often in black and white. I prefer the patterns and
colours of standard quilting fabrics to ‘paint’ my geometric ideas.
• Standard quilting fabrics, all 100% cotton. Variegated quilting thread.
• Patterned fabrics chosen to suit the two background solids, and then strips cut
and arranged according to a personal visual appeal.
